We're a new, Copenhagen-centric party, unbound by ties to Christiansborg. Shameless democrats was born out of frustration by national politicians, trying to micromanage the capital.

Danish districting favour rural areas, so the people of Copenhagen are grossly under-represented in parliament. Shameless democrats are tired of racist pandering, a militarised police force used to terrorise minorities, and the increasingly frequent departure from basic human rights.

We want the City of Copenhagen to use its wealth on our own terms. Despite having the lowest tax rates in the country, we turn large profits year-on-year. But parliament denies us the right to spend it, so we've been turned into an investment portfolio, while refusing unhoused a place to sleep.

We are going to challenge the government, when they force us to build vanity projects, and we will reject their demands to enact racist legislation. We will ensure every human in Copenhagen has access to competent legal assistance, and the help they need. Regardless of their ethnicity and citizenship.

Most people can vote in the local elections this November. To be eligible you must be older than 18. Citizens of the EU, the UK, Norge, Island, Kalaallit Nunaat or Føroyar are immediately eligible, while citizens of other nations must have lived in Denmark for a minimum of four years.
